Automatic Giving
Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers encourage their employees to support non-profit organizations by offering to match employee donations, often dollar-for-dollar or more. These programs greatly increase the impact of your gift to WMI, and they are easy to participate in.
- First, find out if your employer has a matching gift program.
- If your employer participates, obtain a matching gift application form from your Human Resources Department. Many companies also have this form available for downloading on their Web site.
- Fill out the matching gift application form and send it to:

- WMI will complete the form and send it to your employer.
- Your employer will send the matching gift to WMI.
Honor or Holiday Gifts
You can honor friends, relatives, or business associates by making a live-saving gift to WMI in their name. Birthdays, holidays, and weddings are perfect occasions to contribute to WMI. To give a special Christmas gift,

Planned Gifts
Planned gifts can benefit WMI for years to come while helping you to save taxes, increase your income, and pass more on to your heirs. There are many options for planned giving, including gifts of cash, securities, real estate, business interests, personal property, retirement plans, life insurance, and gifts by will or living trust. Gifts in Kind
WMI accepts gifts of securities (stocks and mutual funds) and physical goods that can be put to use quickly and effectively to help accomplish our mission of providing safe water and sharing the message of Christ's love throughout the world.
Securities
Donating stocks and/or mutual funds that have appreciated in value can be a great way to make a significant contribution to WMI and avoid the capital gains tax that might be realized if the stock were sold.

Gifts of physical items such as computers, office supplies, engineering equipment, or vehicles can often be put into ministry use very effectively. WMI has specific needs and requirements at different times, so it is important to
contact us before making your donation.
